Fort Bend ISD

Bhargav Vaidya is a graduating senior from Dulles High School. As part of his extracurricular involvement, Bhargav was an officer on the Science National Honor Society board, where he created opportunities for students to explore their interests in a variety of scientific fields. Through the mentorship program, Bhargav was fortunate enough to be able to work with Mr. Mario Herrera, RN, director of the Catheterization Lab at the Heart and Vascular Institute at Memorial Hermann Southwest. His time there provided invaluable insight on general surgery, open-heart surgery, and minimally invasive catheterization procedures. In the fall, Bhargav plans to attend the University of Texas at Austin in the fall, where he will be to study Biochemistry.
