• Austin Elam, Dulles High School

  • Austin Elam is a graduating senior at Dulles High School. He has made a lasting impact by serving as a Group Commander in AF JROTC, playing Varsity Football as a Defensive End, participating as a cohort member in FBISD Student Leadership 101/102, and contributing to Lin Son Southwest Lion Dance as both a tail performer and coach. He will be attending the University of Houston, majoring in Kinesiology: Exercise Science. One of his favorite memories from mentorship was dressing up for the Halloween session and chasing Robell around in a Squidward costume. Mentorship has taught Austin that there is no room for complacency in life and to put effort in everything that he does.

"Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope." -St. Paul; Romans 5:3-4
