Fort Bend ISD

Mary Li is a senior at Clements High School. She is a student artist who has found great success in competitions such as the Rodeo Art Auction and Scholastic. She is also a Lincoln Douglas debater who enjoys coaching younger students and teaching public speaking. In the fall, she will attend Rice University, where she plans to major in business. Mary is currently a mentee at Dhanani Private Equity Group, a Houston-based real estate private equity firm that provides investment opportunities through various development and acquisition strategies. She loved getting to know everyone in the GT Mentorship cohort and especially enjoyed forming new friendships. She also valued the opportunity to sit alongside her mentor while he worked through emails, gaining insight into his daily responsibilities, and appreciated visiting project sites to see investment developments in action.
