• Rudra Kharel, Bush High School

  • Rudra Kharel is a senior at George Bush High School and serves as the president of Mu Alpha Theta, as well as Asian Student Union. He is also a medalist decathlete for his school's Academic Decathlon team and is involved in NHS and SNHS. Rudra plans to attend Princeton University in the fall to continue his learning in engineering and STEM. At LEAF Engineers, his mentorship site, he worked alongside five different mentors in four different disciplines, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and technology, to learn industry standards of engineering design and work through his own projects of bringing visions to life. One of his favorite memories of the mentorship cohort was during ROPES when the team played games like tape tag and hula circle to get to know each other.
