• Amya Johnson, Marshall High School

  • Amya Johnson is a senior at Thurgood Marshall High School, where she is enrolled in the Early College program and will soon be earning her Associate of Science degree. She serves as the Ambassador of National Honor Society, and she is also part of Upward Bound. One of her most memorable experiences in mentorship was the thrilling experience of participating in Goose Chase. Currently, she is weighing her options between attending Howard University or Spelman College, and her major is undecided for the time being. From her mentorship experience, she has learned that asking as many questions as necessary is crucial; otherwise, one may find themselves in the dark.
