Fort Bend ISD

Andrew Lu is a graduating senior from Clements High School. As part of his extracurricular involvement, Andrew participated in the Student Council, serving as their president to tackle intraschool challenges, and as the Vice-President of the International Club to celebrate events for cultural diversity. Through the mentorship program, Andrew was fortunate enough to be able to work with Dr. Katherine Byers, Government Relations Officer, and Carolina Cano, Government Relations Manager, at the Houston Food Bank. His time there provided invaluable insight into effectively delivering communications with government officials and engaging in broader social advocacy. In the Fall, Andrew will be attending the University of Pennsylvania to study Politics, Philosophy, & Economics.
