• Aman Chaudhary, Hightower High School

  • Student Biography

    Aman Chaudhary is currently a senior at Hightower High School. During his high school career, Aman engaged in HOSA and Model UN and served as the President in his Debate team. Outside of school activities, Aman enjoys biking, dancing, and running. In fact, Aman has just finished running a marathon and is on his 6th year of the MS-150! Additionally, Aman has gotten 10th place in Extemporaneous Debate at Nationals and 7th Place in the Health Care Issues Exam at the international level. He has also gotten 4th place at SEFH (Science and Engineering Fair of Houston). As a part of GT Mentorship, Aman was mentored under Dr. Nwachokor at Community Health and Life Center. During this experience, Aman has been introduced to family practice and gained an understanding of data collection, patient confidentiality, and wellness. Watching Dr. Nwachokor engage and interact with his patients has been an amazing experience for Aman. He has learned how to make doctor visits something to look forward to rather than fear. Aman will be attending Rice University in the fall and majoring in psychology.

    Daniel Nwachokor, MD, MPH, Mentor

     

    Raised in Fort Bend County, Dr. Daniel A. Nwachokor is an alumnus of the Hightower High School Medical Science Academy and now practices family medicine in the community he grew up. His focus on public health is evident in his clinic’s name, Community Health and Life Center. The office gets hundreds of patients with diverse backgrounds ranging from newborns to the elderly. Dr. Nwachokor’s passion for community service is seen through his representation at local, state, and national organization for various causes. With his team, Dr. Nwachokor is committed to meeting the needs of his community and inspiring plenty along the way.
