Fort Bend ISD

Mikhaila Reid is a senior at Travis High School. As a part of her extracurricular involvement, Mikhaila combines art and community building as the Vice President of the Travis National Art Honor Society and the Creatives Lead of March for Our Lives Houston. Through the mentorship program, Mikhaila was fortunate enough to be able to work with Julie Davidson, Community Centered Health Home Coordinator. Her time there provided invaluable insight into how clinics address larger social determinants of health and the importance of patient-doctor trust. In the Fall, Mikhaila will be attending Brown University to study psychology.
