• Kai Tinnin, Austin High School

  • Kai Tinnin is a senior at Stephen F. Austin High School and will be attending Texas A&M in the fall to study engineering. Kai's life goal is to blend artistic fields with traditional sciences, merging the gap between the arts and STEM. They are the current president of Austin's theatre program, and through their involvement, Kai has won such awards as two Mainstage Costume Pieces at Texas Thespian Festival (2021 & 2023) and Best Technician at UIL Zone.  Through their mentorship, they have been able to experience theatre on a professional level, most notably the productions of 26 Miles and the world premiere of Stagolee and the Funeral of a Dangerous Word.
