Student Biography
Annabelle Cheong is currently a senior at Dulles High School. During her high school career, Annabelle engaged in Fort Bend Teen Service League in which she won Fort Bend Teen Service League Teen of the Year, Science Olympiad in which she advanced to Science Olympiad State Regionals, and GirlBytes coding club. She enjoys playing various instruments (piano, guitar, etc.), crocheting for charity, playing badminton, and chinese rope knotting. Additionally, she is the 2022 Greater Houston Affiliate Winner for NCWIT Aspirations in Computing, advanced to the Quarterfinals in the Technovation Challenge 2021 Season, and is a AP Scholar with Distinction.
As a part of GT Mentorship, Annabelle was mentored under Zack Bartol, Sri Valluri, and Luciana Mansur at Aspen Technology. During this experience, Annabelle has gained both insight into her future desired field and a wide variety of professional traits alongside a family of students who have become close despite being from different high schools! In the fall, Annabelle plans to matriculate at Texas A&M and is still deciding her major.
