• Sophia Cruz, Clements High School

  • Sophia Bettina Cruz is a graduating senior from Clements High School. As part of her extracurricular involvement, Sophia participated in her school's Latin club, HOSA, and Ranger Camp. Through the mentorship program, Sophia was fortunate enough to be able to work with Dr. Nazareth and the anesthesia department at Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital. Her time there provided invaluable insight into nerve blocks and the unseen parts of anesthesia. Her favorite memory this year was wall-sitting for the entire duration of a practice interview. In the fall, Sophia will be attending Texas A&M University to study biochemistry.
