• Nicholas Ufeli, Dulles High School

  • Nicholas Ufeli is a hardworking senior at Dulles High School, where he serves as the captain of the 10-time state champion Academic Decathlon Team. In addition to this, he is also Vice- President of African Student Association, Co-Founder of Model United Nations, and Team Lead for SciNow, an organization tutoring science to elementary schoolers. Beyond school, Nicholas is a weekly volunteer within his church and community, contributing to his compassionate nature. Nicholas plans to attend either University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign or Cornell University, majoring in Chemical Engineering. He completed his mentorship at Finoric LLC this past semester, focusing on molecular composition and engineering of scale inhibitors. His favorite memory from GT Mentorship is the laughter of the first meeting of the school year when Mrs. Bryant nickamed him the “growing tree”.
