• Damon Willis, Dulles High School

  • Damon is a senior at Dulles High School. During his time in high school, Damon has raised money for Texas Children's Hospital, conducted science research, competed in powerlifting on a regional level, and served as President of his school's National English Honor Society. After graduating, he will take his talents to the University of Houston as a Tier One Scholar, majoring in biology and minoring in public health and philosophy. In GT Mentorship, Damon has further explored his interest in medicine, specifically cardiothoracic surgery, by shadowing cardiothoracic surgeons, interventional cardiologists, and several other physicians at Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital. His favorite memory from the GT Mentorship cohort is staying late after meetings to chat with friends from the cohort.
