The Five-Year Task Map
The current Gifted and Talented Department 5-Year Task Map is an internal guiding document that is designed to be updated regularly as tasks are completed or revised to reflect the most current timeline(s) and research findings. However, Fort Bend ISD believes it is critical for stakeholders to be aware of the variety and scope of improvements being researched, piloted, or implemented, both currently and in the years to come. Below are links to the initiatives that are listed in the 5-Year Task Map that guides the work of the Task Force.
The initiatives are divided into Completed, In Progress/Ongoing, and Long Term. You will also find that the initiatives are further broken down by the 5 components of the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented Students:
- Student Assessment
- Service Design
- Curriculum and Instruction
- Professional Development
- Family-Community Involvement.
