    • The Gifted and Talented Department is excited to announce our GT Summer Camp for the summer of 2026. As we prepare for these STEM-based programs, we want to ensure all aspects of the curriculum are implemented with fidelity.

      Consequently, our 2026 summer camps will be offered to rising 1st–2nd and 3rd–5th grade FBISD GT-identified students only, with additional grade bands to follow in subsequent years.

    • Registration for the GT Summer Camp for the Summer of 2026 will open in RevTrac (link will go live soon) on February 12th, 2026 at noon (CST). Space is limited! If you need to enroll multiple children, please fill out a separate form for each child. All payments will be final and there will be no refunds once registrations are purchased.The registration link on RevTrac (link will go live soon) will be live at noon (CST) on February 12, 2026.

      If the week and location are no longer available, you can complete the summer camp waitlist for any openings that become available. 

  • The GT camp for the summer of 2026 will be offered in two locations to provide flexibility and ease of access for GT-Identified students from across the district (see options below). Please note that the two camps will be identical, just offered at different campuses. Parents will only need to register for their preferred dates and associated location. The District has confirmed the locations of the camp to be Cornerstone Elementary and Commonwealth Elementary and will operate Monday through Thursday from 8:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. **Transportation will not be provided other than for field experiences.** Child care before or after camp is not available

    After surveying parents through our GTPAC and researching other summer programs offered through FBISD, the tuition for the summer camp will be $185 for the four-day camp. The summer camp will be self-funded through this tuition and will cover all expenses associated with the camp including:

    • Field Trip(s) – including, but not limited to tickets, bus and driver, gas and mileage
    • Materials needed for student experiences
    • Student snacks
    • Summer Camp Teacher Compensation
