Registration is now open for Fort Bend ISD’s September 19 Hiring Event as the District continues to recruit qualified candidates to lead and support instruction.  “Touchdown for Top Talent” will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the James Reese Career and Technical Center (12300 University Blvd, Sugar Land, 77479).

During this event, Fort Bend ISD will be specifically seeking:

• Instructional Aides (candidates with 48 hours of college credit or successful completion of Highly-Qualified Paraprofessional Assessment)
• Instructional Apprentices (candidates currently enrolled in an Alternative Certification Programs)
• Certified Teachers (all subject areas)
• Librarians and Nurses
• Extended Learning, Facilities, Transportation and Child Nutrition staff

Hiring managers from various campuses will be present to meet with candidates, and interviews may occur on site.

RECRUITMENT SUPPLEMENTS AVAILABLE

The Fort Bend ISD Board of Trustees recently authorized a recruitment supplement of $1,500 to be paid to new employees on the teacher pay scale; $1,000 for full-time non-teaching staff, and $500 for part-time employees.
