Fort Bend ISD will host a March 5 hiring event as it seeks certified special education teachers to support student instruction for the 2025-26 school year. The event will be held at Dulles High School (550 Dulles Ave., Sugar Land, 77478) from 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

 

Teachers who are certified in special education and who are interested in joining Fort Bend ISD are asked to pre-register for the event and then arrive prepared for on-the-spot interviews.

Fort Bend ISD offers a starting teacher pay of $63,500 a year for special education teachers, which includes a minimum special education stipend of $1,500. The district also offers robust mentoring and support, a calendar that includes breaks for students and teachers each month, and opportunities for growth and advancement.
