Clinic Procedures
It is required that illness/injury occurring at home be taken care of at home and that students do not go directly to the clinic upon arrival at school.
A student will not be allowed to remain in school if he/she complains of any of the following:
- Temperature of 100.0 or greater
- Vomiting and/or diarrhea
- Undetermined rash
- Feeling too ill to remain at school or at the nurse's discretion
To prevent exposing other students unnecessarily to illness, a student should not come to school if he/she has the following symptoms:- Vomiting and/or diarrhea the morning of school
- Undetermined rash
- Temperature of 100.0 or greater within the past 24 hours

A Registered Nurse is assigned to each elementary and middle school campus, while a Registered Nurse and Licensed Vocational Nurse are assigned to each high school campus. The school nurse assists students' physical, mental and social growth by providing a health services program that assesses, evaluates and improves the health of students and staff.Please contact your school nurse regarding your student's health issues and concerns, hospitalizations and/or treatment changes. -
