Registration
-
How do I register my student(s)?
Please log into your Eleyo account (create new if you do not have one) by going to fortbendisd.reg.eleyo.com, and submit a contract for your student. For more information and step-by-step instructions, please see our online help guide, under “Forms, Tuition and Calendars”.
-
What is the cost of the before and after school program?
For information about the monthly tuition for before and after school programs, please see our Forms and Information page, and the “Forms, Tuition and Calendars” section.
-
How do I make a schedule change to my contract, like add mornings or afternoons?
Log into your Eleyo account, under “Your Accounts” and click on the program and child’s name. Under Current and Upcoming Contracts, click on the child’s contract that you would like to change. While in the contract page, click on Change Schedule, here you will be able to change your child’s enrollment schedule (you will need to do this for each contract, if you have more than one child enrolled). Please note that schedule changes must be submitted with two weeks' notice.
-
Does my student need to be enrolled at the campus to be registered in an Extended Learning Program?
Yes. A student must show as active at the campus in Skyward Family Access when submitting a contract (registering) for Little Learners, Extended Day, or Club Excel programs. However, for out-of-school programs like Spring Break, Summer, and Full-Service Days, your student can attend at any of the open campuses.
-
I need to change the start date for my student to attend; how do I do that?
Once a contract has been approved, you will need to email billing at ExtendedDayBilling@fortbendisd.gov to update your child’s start date. Start dates can be pushed back only once per school year after the contract has been approved.
-
My student is currently enrolled or on a waitlist for this school year – does their registration roll over to next school year?
No. At the end of the school year, your student’s contract ends and a new contract must be submitted for the new school year, regardless of current enrollment status.
-
Is there a registration fee?
Yes, there is a $50 non-refundable registration fee, due at the time you submit the contract.
-
When does registration open for next school year? For Summer? For Spring Break?
Information for the next school year will be available on fortbendisd.com/ExtendedLearning around the beginning of April, for Spring Break around the end of January, and for Summer around the end of February.
-
I’ve submitted a contract for Before and/or After School Care. When do I know if my student is enrolled and can start attending?
Once you’ve submitted a contract, it’s individually reviewed and approved based on campus availability. This process can take up to ten business days, or longer during high-volume times like in July and August. Your child cannot attend until the contract is approved and tuition has been paid. You’ll receive an email notification upon acceptance.
-
Why is my student’s contract taking so long to be approved?
Each contract is individually reviewed, and information that you provide is compared to Skyward Family Access. Particularly around higher volume registration times (July and August), this process can take some time (up to two to three weeks). Other factors might include that your student’s campus is at capacity, which is indicated in Eleyo as a waitlisted campus. In that case, no more students can be accepted until space opens up, and this can take anywhere from a few weeks to several months. If the contract or Skyward Family Access indicates that a student has any medical or special needs, then the review process can also necessitate additional review by a supervisor, to ensure that your student is successful in Extended Learning programs.
-
My campus is showing with “WAITLIST” after it when I submit a contract. What does this mean? When will I know my student has a spot?
Once a campus reaches capacity, it’s placed on a waitlist; when a seat becomes available, parents are notified via the email address in Eleyo that there is a spot available if they would like that spot for their child. Parents are notified in the order that the contract was received. Because availability occurs when other students withdraw, or when more staff are assigned to that campus, there is no timetable available.
-
My student’s campus has a waitlist for before and after school. Can he/she attend a neighboring school that doesn’t have a waitlist?
No. Students can only attend before and after school programs at the home campus that they are enrolled in. Transportation is not provided.
-
My student is currently enrolled in Before and After Care – do I get priority registration for next school year?
Yes. Current families typically get a three-day window prior to open registration for all students.
-
Does my student need to be registered for Early Release Days? For Full Service Days?
If your student has an active contract for Little Learners, Extended Day, or Club Excel in the PM option or the AM/PM Combo option, then after school care is included on Early Release Days. There is a separate registration for Full Service Days, for Little Learners and Extended Day students. Club Excel does not have a Full Service Day program. Here is where you can find the Extended Learning calendars that show Early Release and Full Service Days, under “Forms, Tuition and Calendars”.
-
We’re moving and my student will be at a new school – does his/her before and after school contract automatically move to the new school?
Parents will need to notify the Extended Learning main office with the student's full name and transfer information by sending an email to ExtendedDayBilling@fortbendisd.com. Student transfers are based on campus availability. If the campus that your child is transferring to is at capacity, then your child might be placed on a waitlist at their newly enrolled campus until a seat becomes available.
Camp BLAST Summer Program
-
When does summer program registration open?
Information for the summer program is available on fortbendisd.com/Extended Learning around the end of February.
-
Is there a registration fee?
Yes. There is a $50 registration fee for summer Camp BLAST, regardless if your student attended during the school year, or the number of summer sessions they’re attending.
-
When do I find out that my student has been enrolled in the summer sessions, and can attend?
After you submit your child’s contract, notification about acceptance into the summer program will be sent to your email address on file. Each contract is reviewed and approved individually, and this process can take up to two weeks. You’ll receive another automated email notification when your child’s contract has been approved. Please note: your child may not be approved for all registered sessions at one time. For example, the contract might be approved for sessions 1 and 4 but not 2 and 3 if those sessions are at capacity.
-
When does summer registration end?
Registration for each week will close the prior Friday by noon (12:00 pm), unless the session reaches max capacity before that time. Typically, summer sessions do reach capacity soon after registration is opened.
-
For the summer weekly sessions, when is payment due?
During the summer, weekly sessions must be paid in full at the time your student’s contract (registration) is approved. Please only submit for the sessions you are prepared to pay for immediately, as full payment will be collected when registration is reviewed and approved.
-
What grade level should I put for my student to submit a summer program contract, since it’s between school years?
You should put the grade the child just completed in this last school year.
-
How old does my student need to be for the PreK summer program?
PreK students must turn four years old by September 1 and have a basic level of self-care.
-
Can I cancel summer sessions that I paid for already?
If a cancellation and refund request is made in writing to extendeddaybilling@fortbendisd.gov at least ten business days prior to the start of the session, the tuition will be refunded, less a $10 processing fee. The processing fee is charged per child, per week.
-
Is there a summer calendar of what my student will do each week?
Yes. Summer calendars are usually available on fortbendisd.com/ExtendedLearning in early April. Each week will consist of a field trip or onsite event, daily lunch, sports, games, hands-on activities, and arts/crafts.
-
Can a student outside of the district attend a summer program campus?
Yes. Students do not have to be enrolled in Fort Bend ISD to attend Camp BLAST summer sessions.
