• Full Service Day Information for 2024-2025

    Extended Learning is open from 6:30am to 6:30pm at select campuses for full-service days for registered students in PreK through 5th grade. Students will need to register to attend on full-service days and there will be a fee charged for each day. 

     

    Registration for current families is open now. 

     

    Registration for students that are not attending an Extended Learning program opens at 9:00am on September 6, 2024.  

     

    Students that attend on these student holidays will need to register for the specific day in Eleyo and pay the daily fee in order to secure their spot for that day.  The cost for each day will be $50, and there is a $10 discount for district employees.  If a student is not registered and approved for that day, they will not be able to attend.  Space will be limited, so early registration is encouraged.

    Registration & Fees 

     

    Payment will be collected when registration is approved.  Accounts will be invoiced after contract acceptance and the fee will be charged to the payment method on file.  All tuition and fees must be paid before enrollment is complete.  Any fee that cannot be collected will be subject to department late fee process. 

     

    If a request for refund is made 7 business days prior to the day, the tuition will be refunded, less a $10 processing fee. The processing fee is charged per child, per week. Requests can be submitted in writing to Extended Learning at extendeddaybilling@fortbendisd.com.

     

    Register early! Space is limited and we do anticipate that campuses will fill up quickly.  Any students that register after that capacity has been reached will be placed on a wait list.  Enrollment is open to any campus, regardless of home school.

     

    Registration for current families for the fall semester student holidays, September 27 and October 15, will open on Friday, August 30 at 9:00am.  Students that are not currently attending a school year program will be able to register starting on September 6, 2024.  The registration for each full-service day will close five business days before the day, unless the campus has reached capacity before that time.  Space is limited and only students that have been approved for the day are eligible to attend.  Once a campus has reached the capacity, students will be placed on a waitlist and will be notified if a seat becomes available.  Parents also have the option to register at an alternate location.       

     

    Priority is given to students currently enrolled in Extended Learning (Extended Day & Little Learners) programs.  Non-Extended Learning students may sign up for the day, however acceptance will be based on campus availability.  In addition to the daily fee, students not currently attending the program will also need to pay the $50 registration fee.  Minimum capacity must be met in order for the campus to open.  

     

    If you are interested in your child attending for one or both of these days, you will need to register your child in Eleyo.  You do not need to create a new account or a new contract to register for service on this day. 

     

    Enrichment & Activities 

     

    Full-Service Days are an exciting and engaging program designed for elementary students that combines art, physical activity, and technology in multiple rotations throughout the day.  Students will have the opportunity to explore various forms of art, such as painting, sculpture, and digital art. This creative exploration allows them to express their imagination, develop fine motor skills, and learn different artistic techniques.  In gym, students focus on physical fitness through fun games and activities. They stay active and develop social skills through group play, promoting teamwork and cooperation.  The students also get to engage with technology using Smart Boards to play group games on FBISD-approved websites. This introduces them to tech concepts in a fun and approachable way, fostering problem-solving skills and logical thinking.  Overall, Full-Service Days offer a balanced mix of creativity, physical activity, and technological learning, ensuring that kids have a well-rounded and enjoyable experience.
