Julie Boettiger
Julie Boettiger serves as the Coordinator of Elementary Music for Fort Bend ISD. Mrs. Boettiger also serves as the Director of the Fort Bend Kodály Institute, where Elementary Music Teachers and Choral Directors work to earn Level I, Level II and Level III Kodály Certification. The Fort Bend Kodály Institute is an Organization of American Kodály Educators Endorsed Program, where Mrs. Boettiger earned and maintains the Endorsement Requirements each year. Prior to her current roles, Mrs. Boettiger served the district as the Elementary Music Facilitator. Mrs. Boettiger has 16 years of teaching experience, five years in Katy ISD and the remaining 11 years in Fort Bend ISD.
Mrs. Boettiger has helped the Fort Bend ISD programs grow through professional development opportunities and effective collaboration. She is committed to assisting the Fort Bend ISD Fine Arts Department by providing support and guidance to the elementary music educators. Mrs. Boettiger supported the Fort Bend ISD Elementary Honor Choir as a Guest Conductor at the 2023 Texas Music Educators Association Conference in San Antonio, TX. Mrs. Boettiger is also respected and sought after to lead Professional Development sessions throughout our region and state.
Mrs. Boettiger earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Texas Tech University and her Master’s in Education Administration from the University of Houston. Mrs. Boettiger holds memberships in the Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Choral Directors Association, Texas Fine Arts Administrators Association, Organization of American Kodály Educations, and Kodály Educators of Texas.
