To provide all early foundation that guides children physically, cognitively, socially, emotionally and linguistically. The Prekindergarten experience influences the rest of a child’s life in a way that is inclusive of young children, educators, and families and is consistently child-oriented, child-directed and teacher facilitated establishing a strong academic foundation and setting the stage for life-long learning. The pre-k program also ensures that children are successful and joyful lifelong learners; educators are supported and fulfilled; families are partners in their child’s educational experience, all to the benefit of the community.
Registration for the 2018-19 School Year
Students will attend prekindergarten at their zoned campus based on their home address. Please check the Prekindergarten Feeder Pattern to find the program appropriate for your child. If you are not aware of your home campus, check the School Finder to find your school. Online registration for prekindergarten for the 2018-2019 school year will continue throughout the school year.
Parents of four year old children who are eligible for prekindergarten can begin the first step in the enrollment process using the new student online registration system
. After completing online registration, parents must contact their zoned PreK campus following completion of online registration to set up an appointment to finish the enrollment process. Enrollment appointments will be held on campus during the established hours. Questions about eligibility, registration and availability for 2018-2019 should be directed to the ADA clerk at your zoned prekindergarten campus.
