• Finished the remodel of the Lake Olympia Middle School gym. 

Natatorium Lighting Upgrade

• Upgraded the lighting at the Natatorium. This was especially challenging due to the lights being mounted over the water.  A platform had to be moved from light to light to do the replacement.

Natatorium Pool Heater Replacement

• The main boiler that heats the competition pool at the Don Cook Natatorium had a total failure on Thursday, March 7, and was deemed unrepairable late that same night. On Friday, March 8, Facilities personnel  located a replacement boiler in Tennessee and had it expedited for Saturday morning delivery. The unit was installed  Saturday, March 9, resulting in no loss of use to the pool; as it maintained temperature within acceptable range.  The new unit will service the pool for many years to come, and we want to commend the Facilities Team and Athletics Department for working together over the weekend to make these repairs seamless and in the background.
