• ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SUMMER PROGRAMS

    *Fort Bend ISD (FBISD) will be closed for the Fourth of July Holidays (July 6 to July 10, 2026). 

    In summer 2026, FBISD will offer a variety of free elementary student targeted summer programs. Student eligibility varies by program. 

    FBISD will offer free summer programming for identified Emergent Bilingual students to provide multiple opportunities for students to engage with meaningful linguistic and academic experiences to prepare them for the next grade level. The multilingual summer program is designed for students currently enrolled in pre-kindergarten (PreK) and kindergarten who are also in the Bilingual or ESL (English as a Second Language) program. Parents whose children qualify will receive communication on how to register through Skyward. Please see the table below and the summer multilingual website for details. 

    FBISD GT-specific summer camps provide a venue for academically and intellectually exceptional children to have fun while enhancing not just their intellectual interests and needs, but also their emotional, social, and problem-solving skills, with other like-minded peers. With specialized instruction chosen to stimulate children's imagination and broaden their grasp of a high-interest topic, your child will not only be entertained, but also educated, and challenged. Registration for summer GT programs opens February 12, 2026 (12 PM). Students must already be identified for GT services in FBISD for summer GT programs. See the summer GT web page for more details.

    FBISD Special Education will offer several free summer programs, including Extended School Year (ESY) Services, Structured Therapeutic Educational Program (STEP), SPED Early Intervention Academy (EIA), and Social Understanding Programs. Please check the Special Education website for program details and qualifications. The ESY program will provide an Individualized Education Program (IEP) beyond the regular school year for children with disabilities who have exhibited or may be expected to exhibit severe or substantial regression in critical skill area(s) that cannot be recouped within a reasonable period of time or that need to be maintained beyond the regular school year.
