HIGH SCHOOL SUMMER PROGRAMS
*FBISD will be closed on Juneteenth (06/19/2024) the Fourth of July Holidays (07/01-07/05/2024).
In summer 2024, Fort Bend ISD will be offering a variety of instructional opportunities for our high school students (grades 9-12). In response to the needs of our students and families, FBISD will offer original credit options via Summer O-LAB, a hybrid online program, or the Original Credit face-to-face program. Additionally, Credit Recovery (face-to-face), Special Education, and Emergent Bilingual instructional programs are also available.
In summer 2024, courses are available to all Fort Bend ISD students entering 9th through 12th grades who meet course prerequisites. These are tuition-based programs. Summer O-LAB and High School Original Credit (face-to-face) courses will only be available for 9-12th grade students in good standing. Summer O-LAB/High School Original Credit classrooms and teachers will be available at assigned campuses.
FBISD Special Education will offer several summer programs, including Extended School Year (ESY) Services, Structured Therapeutic Educational Program (STEP), SPED Early Intervention Academy (EIA), and Social Understanding Programs. ESY services will be provided for students receiving special education services who are recommended through an ARD committee decision. Please check the Special Education website for specific program details and qualifications.
