Firewall Rule Modification

Overview: The District employs a sophisticated internet firewall system that uses rules to allow permitted traffic or deny malicious traffic. Sometimes District required applications or services utilize non-standard protocols, ports, etc. to function correctly and so adjustments to the District’s protection rules are necessary.

Benefits and features: If a new application or service requires a new or modified rule in order to function properly this is the service where those requests can be made.

Who is eligible to use the service: Department Leaders and above (should require leadership approval).

How to request access to the service: Open a CSC case and select BLAH.
