On April 18, 1959, Missouri City Independent School District and Sugar Land Independent School District were consolidated by-election establishing the Fort Bend Independent School District. Many things have changed in Fort Bend ISD over the last 60 years, but one thing remains constant. Our everlasting commitment to the education of our students. For the next 60 years and beyond, FBISD will always exist to inspire and equip all students to pursue futures beyond what they can imagine.
