    HOW DO I APPLY FOR AVID?                             Small AVID Man logo

    Ft. Bend ISD AVID applications will open for the 2025-2026 school year November 11, 2024. Interested students must complete the online application for the campus he/she will be attending in the fall of 2025 using the links below. The online application must be completed at one time, however, students can view or print the application prior to completing. Once submitted, the student will receive an email confirmation which will also allow him/her to edit responses up until the due date. Please allow at least an hour to complete. Final acceptance into the AVID program will be determined upon completion of an interview.

    Dec/Jan                    Campus presentations
    January 17               Deadline to submit AVID application. 
    January 17-31           AVID Applicant Interviews
    February 7                AVID invitation letters sent out to students
    February 14              Deadline for students to accept AVID invitation
     
     
    INCOMING 6th GRADE INFORMATION: 
     
    6th grade is a 1-year introduction to AVID offered at some middle school campuses- students reapply to the AVID program as 7th graders.
