HOW DO I APPLY FOR AVID?                             

Check back in November! 

Ft. Bend ISD AVID applications will be open for the 2026-2027school year beginning in November.

Interested students must complete an online application for the campus he/she will be attending in the fall of 2026. The online application must be completed at one time, however, students can view or print the application prior to completing. Once submitted, the student will receive an email confirmation which will also allow him/her to edit responses up until the due date. Please allow at least an hour to complete. Final acceptance into the AVID program will be determined upon completion of an interview and review of grades, attendance, and discipline behavior.

6th GRADE INFORMATION: 

6^th grade is a 1-year introduction to AVID offered at some middle school campuses- students reapply to the AVID program as 7^th graders.
