Camp Cardiac Houston is a one week summer day camp for high school students. The camp is ran by first through fourth year medical students from the University of Texas at Houston Medical School. During the one week camp students will earn their CPR certification, participate in laboratory heart dissections (pig), learn about healthy living, and participate in various hands-on activities. Interested students must submit an application and be able to convey through a 300 word essay why they are interested in the medical field.
