                LibrarianQualification Requirements - Master's Degree Master’s Degree in Library and/or Information Science or related field required
- Valid Texas Teacher Certification
- Valid Texas Librarian Certification
- Minimum of 2 years of classroom teaching experience from a public or accredited private school
- Knowledge and training in all phases of school librarianship
- Ability to serve as teacher, instructional specialist, and materials specialist

                Library Media SpecialistQualification Requirements - Bachelor's Degree
- Master's Degree Must have completed at least 12 hours of graduate study in a Library degree program leading to a Master's Degree in Library and/or Information Science or related field; must be able to complete the School Librarian degree and certification within 2 years
- Valid Teaching Certification Issued by Texas Education Agency appropriate to subject and grade level of assignment
- Minimum of 2 years classroom teaching experience
 
University of Houston Clear Lake Cohort
