Dr. Framy Diaz, Executive Director of Elementary Schools
Dr. Framy Diaz currently serves as one of Fort Bend ISD’s Executive Directors of Elementary Schools, bringing more than two decades of experience in public education and leadership.Throughout his career, Dr. Diaz has held a variety of roles including bilingual teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, administrative supervisor, and principal. He served as principal at Cook Elementary in Austin ISD and most recently at Ridgemont Elementary in Fort Bend ISD, where he was honored as Principal of the Year for his exemplary leadership and commitment to student success.
Dr. Diaz is deeply passionate about serving others and fostering academic excellence. In his current role, he is proud to support campus leaders and collaborate across the district to elevate student achievement and strengthen school communities.
Originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, Dr. Diaz relocated to Texas in 1998 following his enlistment in the U.S. Army. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Airway Science Management from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, a Master of Science in Quality Systems Management from the National Graduate School of Quality Management, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Walden University. In May 2022, he retired from military service after 24 years of combined active duty and service in the Texas National Guard.
