Fort Bend Regional History DayParticipation in the National History Day Contest gives students in grades 6 – 12 the opportunity to take a deep dive into history, focusing on historical research while having the opportunity to become writers, filmmakers, web designers, playwrights and artists to create unique, modern-day expressions and interpretations of history.
The 2025-2026 theme is Revolution, Reaction, Reform in History. Students can showcase their talents in 5 categories at the recent Fort Bend Regional History Day contest: exhibit, website, documentary, paper and performance. Students from all over Fort Bend County, including those from Fort Bend ISD, Katy ISD, Cypress-Fairbanks ISD, and home-schools participate in the contest at both the junior (grades 6-8) and senior (grades 9-12) levels.
