  • The Fort Bend ISD Police Department is accredited through the Texas Police Chief's Association Best Practices Recognition Program and works in compliance with 170 Texas Law Enforcement Best Practices. These Best Practices were developed by Texas law enforcement professionals to assist agencies in the efficient delivery of service, the reduction of risk, and the protection of individual's rights.

      • Intermediate: $1,000
      • Advanced: $2,000
      • Masters: $3,000 
    • Field Training Officer (FTO): $1,500
    • Bilingual: $2,000
    • Bachelors Degree: $1,800
    • Masters Degree: $3,000 
  • Qualifications

    • US Citizen
    • At least 21 years of age
    • High school graduate or GED-required
    • Valid Texas Driver's License
    • TCOLE Peace Officer License
    • Associate degree in criminal justice-preferred
