Fort Bend Independent School is holding Middle School summer courses online instead of teaching in person due to COVID-19 concerns. Please your child's counselor concerning credit recovery, original credit, and AP classes.
The Credit Recovery Program allows students to regain credit for previously failed courses by successfully completing coursework.
Courses offered include Math, ELA, Social Studies, and Science.
Curriculum will be provided through online courses in Edgenuity.

Counselors register students for summer courses based on your completed registration form.
*Contact your school Counselor for registration information and/or assistance.
Payment must be made via Skyward Family Access during the same dates as registration.
Cost for Original Credit is $125 ($65 for Reduced Lunch status, $50 Free Lunch status).
Final payment: pay through RevTrak in SKYWARD Family Access.
Deadline is May 29th 2020 at 12:00 midnight.

• Class Assignments ‐ Classes are assigned by the
summer school administrative team based on
enrollment, need, and the availability of certified
teachers. Courses that are cancelled due to
insufficient enrollment or lack of certified teachers
will result in a full refund or the opportunity for the
student to select another available course.
Loaner Laptops for Summer Students (only available to students taking credit recovery courses)
Students that have a laptop from Term 4 will keep their laptop for summer school. An acknowledgment letter will be sent to parents for extended use of laptop.
If a student needs to check out a laptop the following times and dates are available for laptop distribution.
May 26th-28th 7:00am-3:30pm
June 2nd-4th 7:00am-3:30pm
June 9th-11th 7:00am-3:30pm
Laptop Distribution Locations - Austin High School and Dulles High School
*Refund Procedure - All allowable requests for refunds must be made in writing to the summer school principal and approved by the principal. A processing fee will be deducted from each approved refund.
Refunds will be given due to the cancellation of classes and will not be
subject to a processing fee. Allow up to 4 weeks processing time.
