On behalf of the Fort Bend ISD Board of Trustees and our more than 10,000 employees, welcome to Fort Bend ISD!

I invite you to take a look at our Board-adopted guiding documents, including our Mission, Vision, Core Beliefs and Commitments, and Profile of a Graduate, all of which outline our work and our commitment to the community – the “why” in what we do.

Our students’ achievements are vast, and we are extremely proud of every national, state and district honor they accomplish. But we are also proud of every milestone and progressive step that our students take in their own educational journey. The Profile of a Graduate was developed with community collaboration and adopted by the Board of Trustees. This profile defines the skills and attributes that a Fort Bend ISD graduate should possess upon graduation from an FBISD school. In addition to having a rigorous academic foundation and strong character, we strive to ensure our graduates are equipped with skills for life, servant leaders, effective communicators, critical thinkers, compassionate citizens, collaborative team members, and life-long learners.

You will notice all of these attributes include skills that extend beyond the classroom. We recognize and acknowledge the importance of developing students who are not only academically prepared, but young people who are equipped with the knowledge and skills that are necessary for true success in life.

We also know we cannot do it alone. It is our goal to establish Collaborative Communities in each of our schools. We want everyone in our community — parents, neighbors, businesses, faith-based organizations, social service agencies and other governmental entities — to come together on behalf of our students and schools. I invite you to partner with our District to help inspire and equip our students to pursue futures beyond what they can imagine.

    With much appreciation,
