2018 Bond Oversight Committee

  • Purpose

The Fort Bend ISD Bond Oversight Committee was created in summer 2014 to work in an advisory capacity with the District to develop the November 2014 bond proposal. With voter approval of the November 2014 bond election, the committee has met quarterly to review the status of capital projects, bond expenditures, project schedules, and the timeliness of bond projects. The committee has reported  its work and findings to the Board of Trustees on a periodic basis. Information regarding the work of the committee, including meeting agendas and meeting minutes, is published on the FBISD website.

As the 2014 Bond Program has progressed, the Bond Oversight Committee has also received information and provided feedback regarding future bond planning.

Meetings of the Bond Oversight Committee are open to the public. Members of the FBISD community are invited to attend committee meetings for the purpose of listening to and observing the work of the Bond Oversight Committee.
