Programs of Choice Recruitment

November 1 – 30, 2024

(Extended to December 6) (2025 only)

Application Window

This is the time for current 8th graders zoned to Fort Bend ISD to apply for the Programs of Choice, including Academies, P-TECH, and Early College programs.

December 9 – February 11, 2024

Validation Window

During this period, applications will undergo a validation process. This process confirms that students are zoned to Fort Bend ISD and are eligible to participate in the program.

February 11 – 18, 2025

Priority 1 Acceptance

Students who qualify for their Priority 1 selection will receive an email offering them the opportunity to commit to their Priority 1 program.

February 19 – 26, 2025

General Acceptance

Students who qualify for one or more programs will receive an email with the opportunity to commit to a single program.

March 3 – March 7, 2025

Waitlisted Acceptance

Students on the waitlist will receive an email with the opportunity to commit to a program if space becomes available for them.

March 17, 2025

ECHS and Academy Cohorts Selection Complete

Cohorts for the Class of 2029 are final.

April 2025

Commitment Ceremonies

Commitment ceremonies will be held at each respective hosting campus.
