FBISD holds events about career and readiness opportunities

Fort Bend ISD (September 13, 2024) – Fort Bend ISD will hold two events (virtual and in-person) for parents to learn more about the district’s diverse career and readiness opportunities which include Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways, STEM and Humanities academies and P-TECH and Early College High School programs.

A preliminary webinar will be held September 25 at 6 p.m. on Zoom. The in-person event will be held at the James Reese Career & Technical Center (12300 University Blvd, Sugar Land, TX 77479) on October 1, from 6-7:30 p.m.

Led by Academy and CTE administrators, the virtual event will allow participants to ask questions and gather information about the various programs and academy application process.

During the in-person event, attendees can meet with teachers and administrators to further explore the various programs and pathways. A special parent session will take place from 6-6:30 p.m. where district administrators will provide an overview of all the program and pathway options.
