Dr. Damian Viltz

Dr. Damian Viltz serves as the Chief Operations Officer for Fort Bend ISD. In this role, Dr. Viltz oversees key operational functions of the school district including Facilities, Design & Construction, and Transportation. He previously served as the District's Executive Director of Facilities.

As Executive Director of Facilities, Dr. Viltz was responsible for maintenance, heating ventilation & air conditioning, energy management, custodial services, groundskeeping, and the maintenance of the District’s fleet of vehicles. Prior to joining Fort Bend ISD, he served for over 20 years in the U.S. Navy.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Prairie View A&M University, his Master of Business Administration from the Naval Postgraduate School, his Master of Arts in Administrative Leadership from the University of Oklahoma, and his Doctor of Business Administration from Prairie View A&M University.
