    Long Pham has served as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Fort Bend Independent School District (FBISD) since 2013. With over 35 years of experience in Information Technology management and technical leadership across both private and non-profit sectors, Pham is a seasoned technology executive. In his current role, he leads the Information Technology Division at FBISD, where he provides strategic direction and oversight for all district technology infrastructures, systems, programs, and initiatives.

    Before joining FBISD, Pham was the Director of Information Technology & Services at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center for seven years, managing a team of 200 staff members and 40 contractors to deliver IT services to an organization of 18,000 employees. Prior to his tenure at MD Anderson, Pham served as Assistant Director of Network Services at Rice University. Throughout his career, Pham has worked across various business sectors, gaining international experience and traveling to seven countries and 34 states.

    Pham holds a Master of Science in Telecommunications Engineering from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

    Outside of his professional responsibilities, Pham has been actively engaged in the local community for more than 30 years. He served as a Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 38 and coached local youth teams in chess, swimming, soccer, and basketball. Pham and his wife, Hà, have three sons who are graduates of FBISD.
