The Board permits and encourages the use of District facilities in a manner that best serves the needs of the District community within the laws, rules and regulations that govern the operation of a public independent school district. Organizations may apply for use of District facilities for activities that do not conflict with District use, Board Policy or District Administrative Regulations. Requests for non-school use of District facilities will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis.
A responsible representative of a group or organization desiring to use a school facility shall submit a Facility Use Agreement after reviewing the Fort Bend ISD Board Policy GKD (Local).
The Agreement must be submitted to the Enterprise Funds department for consideration at least thirty (30) days in advance of the desired date. Non-profit organizations must provide a notarized Non-Profit Charitable Organization Exemption Form with the Agreement.
Payment and Certificate of Insurance for approved events are due ten (10) days prior to the event date.
