Board Policy EIC Local Update: Starting with the class of 2029 and beyond (incoming 9th graders), students will not receive AAC or AP credit for more than 2 advanced level courses taken with our approved external providers: Texas Virtual School Network(TXVSN), UT High School, and Texas Tech University ISD(TTUISD).
Note:
- Students that take more than 2 AAC or AP weighted courses from TxVSN WILL NOT RECEIVE THE EXTRA WEIGHTED POINTS towards GPA and RANK.
- Students are still not limited to the number of courses taken through Texas Virtual School Network.
- They will receive regular grade points for the extra AAC or AP courses taken beyond 2 credits.
- Students shall not take more than 2 credits from UT High School and Texas Tech ISD throughout grades K-12.
- AAC, AP or on level shall not exceed 2 credits.
