Sponsorships: Clements Academic Speech Team (CAST) and the Clements Chapter of the National Speech and Debate Association (NSDA) with an honor society component, the National Forensic League 

Students participating in these organizations compete in public speaking, debate and oral interpretation events. Each year, students qualify for participation in the Texas Forensic Association (TFA) State Meet, advanced University Interscholastic League (UIL) contests, and the NSDA National Tournament. For more than ten years, the Clements chapter held the position of largest active member school in the East Texas NSDA District and remains one of the largest in the state. The Clements team finished the 2021-2022 school year ranked among the top ten Texas schools in the NSDA and received the award for "UIL State Sweepstakes Winner in Speech/Debate."
