I am one of the resource teachers here at AFE. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in Special Education through the University of Houston-Victoria. Before actually teaching, I was a para-educator for twelve years. I have a passion for helping children discover their full potential in all areas. My true love and passion is Special education. I am currently in school to obtain a Master in Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) along with writing my very own inspirational/encouraging book.

In addition to work and school, I am a foster parent, I have a loving husband, three children, one grandbaby, two Tabby cats and two Oscar fish. I also enjoy attending church services, roller skating and brain teasers.
