Welcome to US History! :)

This is my sixth year at Baines Middle School teaching eighth-grade Social Studies. I absolutely love US History, and I hope that my passion for the subject is contagious for my students.  I am also the 7A Volleyball coach and the PALs Sponsor. Go Longhorns!  I had the honor of being named the 2018-2019 campus Teacher of the Year.  I love Baines Middle School and the community we serve!  If you have any questions, feel free to email or call.  Let's have a great year! :) 

I have lived in the Houston area my entire life. I have a huge family with 5 brothers and sisters. I graduated magna cum laude from the BEST university in the world, Baylor University in 2013! Sic 'EM Bears!!! I am currently in graduate school studying Educational Leadership at Lamar University.  I will be graduating this December!
I love to be active and outdoors. My favorite hobby is playing pretty much any sport: volleyball, basketball, flag football, ultimate frisbee, etc.

I love to travel and hope to travel to as many places as I can! If I could be on the NBC show, Amazing Race, it would be a dream come true!
