Meet Your College & Career Advisor
-
Raven Hollins-CrowderHello Rangers! I am excited about working with you as you plan for your post-secondary future. I have been at Clements for ten years, and I continue to be amazed by our students. I previously worked in higher education as an academic advisor specializing in university admissions, transfer advising, articulation agreements, and career exploration. This year, my office is in the library. I also have a table in The Commons on Mondays and Wednesdays during all three lunches. When I'm not helping Rangers achieve their post-secondary dreams, I spend time with my family. I am married to an FBISD teacher, and we have two sons. I spend many hours reading novels, shopping at DSW, and cheering on the Houston Cougars and my beloved Dallas Cowboys!FUN FACT: I collect Barbie dolls. I suspect that I have over 200, but I can't be too sure... I stopped counting! ;-)Phone: (281) 634-7674Degrees:M.Ed. Adult & Higher EducationB.A. HistoryFBISD now uses SchooLinks. About College & Career Readiness Advising
-
The College & Career Resource Center (CCR) is where students seek advising related to the college admissions process, obtain scholarship and financial aid information, meet with university representatives, as well as explore career options. In addition to helping students select the best university specific to their needs; I also work with students on their essays, discuss college major choices, and prepare students for life in a collegiate setting by using the skills I cultivated during my 12 years working on a university campus. Students are welcome to visit before, during, and after school.
