Model United
Nations is an extracurricular activity for students to attend conferences where
they simulate the United Nations, analyze pressing issues of international
importance, and build meaningful relationships with people around the country.
By allowing students to take a walk in the shoes of a delegate from their
assigned country and advocating for their policies while trying to solve a
problem, they gain a variety of talents. Many students not only gain
researching skills, but refine their abilities in public speaking, writing,
teamwork, and leadership. Clements Model United Nations has consistently been
one of the highest ranking teams in Texas and is dedicated to providing an
enriching educational experience for any student wishing to improve themselves
as global citizens. We urge any interested student to attend our meetings beginning
next fall. Check us out at Club Night!
