I am thrilled to be at Clements for my 20th year of teaching!  I have always wanted to be a teacher and am a certified English and math teacher for grades six through twelve.  I received my undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin in 1994 and my graduate degree from Texas State University in 1996.  In 2010 I joined Fort Bend ISD at Sartartia Middle School where I was named Teacher of the Year in 2013.  In May 2014 I was selected as the Fort Bend ISD Secondary Teacher of Year.  In February 2016 I was honored to be chosen as the HEB Excellence in Education Award Winner for the Houston area and a finalist in Texas.  I love teaching math, and it is a privilege to work at Clements High School!

My husband and I have two sons in their 20s, and we live in Sugar Land with our busy dog.  We love all things Marvel and Harry Potter and especially enjoy cheering for college football.
