Hello, Clements Rangers!  My name is Jeffrey Stirl.  I teach Professional Communications, am the assistant debate coach, I do stats for the football team, and help with the Theatre program.  I am excited to return for my sixth year at Clements High School and 24th year in education.  I was born in Pasadena, TX (aka Stink-a-dena) and grew up in Daingerfield, TX, which is in northeast Texas.  I initially attended Northeast Texas Community College in Mt. Pleasant, TX.  From there, I transferred to Texas A&M at Commerce (note:  we are LIONS, not aggies!) where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Theatre.  I then began teaching as a sub in Mt. Pleasant.  I then went to work in San Augustine, TX where I taught middle school Theatre, Speech, History (5th, 6th, and 7th grade), Math, and also coached football, basketball, track, and off-season.  I then went to work for Hughes Springs High School teaching Theatre and Speech.  I returned to A&M Commerce to earn my Master's degree in Theatre.  After that, I taught Theatre and Speech at Gatesville High School (Gatesville, TX) and at Pittsburg High School (Pittsburg, TX). 

In my spare time, I enjoy doing Theatre, working as an extra in film and television, singing, playing guitar and bass.  I also enjoy going to the movies, playing video games, fishing, and spending time with my wonderful family and awesome friends and my sweet little dog!
